On the Palm, I used Top Secret, with no desktop counterpart (I had no need for one). After a quick market check, I found SplashId, which has many interesting features :
- multiple mobile platforms (not that I have any intention to ever use Windows Mobile, but Series 60 is nice to have)
- sync to a desktop version
- export and import for many other password managers, so it’s not a data silo.
- it uses 256 bits Blowfish to protect my data. I trust Blowfish a lot, because it comes from Bruce Schneier and not from these Security Theater people.
And the best : you can sync to the desktop over wireless, by creating an ad-hoc wireless network. Much smarter than carrying a USB cable around. It just misses a Linux desktop, but I use Linux only on servers for now.
