In apc-ups-doubtful-quality-checks, I wrote about my UPS having a strange metal piece inside. After some ping-pong with the support, the have sent me a new UPS and pulled back the defective one to analyze what was wrong with it.
So it seems their engineering and quality support is good after all. Good to know if you are on the market.
