Even after many removal tentatives, Mrs Candice Miller continues to spams me with undesired bullshit. Even Viagra ads are more entertaining. Here is the message I sent to try to stop her spamming the world :

Dear Mrs Miller,

Using your government resources to send millions of spams mails worldwide is most probably a criminal offense (if not a felony) in your country.

If you don’t want to be exposed to public shame or worse, be asked how you use your tax money in front of a court, I respectfully recommend you to stop spamming people outside America. Twice in a row, you have send me undesired emails about you and your work, even after I asked for removal from your distribution lists. If you continue harassing me, be sure a lot of people around and above you will be informed about your methods.

US-CERT just released TA10-238A. Excerpts :

Due to the way Microsoft Windows loads dynamically linked libraries (DLLs), an application may load an attacker-supplied DLL instead of the legitimate one, resulting in the execution of arbitrary code.

OK, I suppose an attacker must have administrator rights to plant a hostile DLL ? Or maybe not ?

… Windows uses several different search algorithms to find DLL files. The interaction between the application and Windows can result in a DLL file being loaded from the current working directory … The current working directory could be the desktop, a removable storage device such as a USB key, a Windows file share, or a WebDAV location.

Well, it appears Windows will load DLLs from just about anywhere they are, even on remote systems. What a nice, well-thought feature. What were they smoking when they designed this OS ?

quand fin 2009 tu attaquais la Suisse en utilisant les données confidentielles volées à une de nos banques, je me disais que tu en avais une grosse paire dans le pantalon. S’attaquer à ce genre d’établissement peut coûter cher, et je supposais que tu avais été assez malin pour assurer tes arrières.

Six mois plus tard, je dois constater que non seulement tu as été malhonnête avec les gens qui ont voté pour la Sarkozie, mais en plus tu as été assez con pour laisser perdurer moults conflits d’intérêts tout en t’attaquant à plus gros que toi. En plus, avec tes maladresses, tu va mettre en difficulté ton propre chef.

Là, mon pauvre, après ta démission, il ne te restera qu’à acheter une villa aux îles Caïman : tu ne pourras pas planquer tes pots de vins et ceux de ta douce en Suisse, nos banques ne voudront pas de vous.

I had to certify a new device category on a customer NMS, naming a Cisco 2911. To check whether Cisco did a good job with their MIB, I had to cool it down, which was easy, as we have winter right now.

Success, zone-IntakeLeft went down to 10°. I had to close the windows to avoid getting sick, but it would be interesting to try -5° to check the MIB behaviour.
