Apple TV : got it working

In Apple TV : the hell with component output, I discovered that the beast had component output, unusable on my european CRT TV using SCART sockets. However, thanks to the work of a few hackers, getting composite output from the Apple TV is possible, indeed.

Custom Headers in Apple Mail

Apple’s Mail.app can be configured to send custom headers with each e-mail sent. The usual “defaults” command is your friend. Here is an example (enter on one line) :
defaults write com.apple.mail UserHeaders
‘{“X-Message-Flag” =
“Microsoft Outlook Fatal Error. Please reboot your system.”;}’

Linux install zone at Openexpo

On Wednesday, I helped some cool Linux folks at the Bern Openexpo. It was quite a successful event. The Openexpo page invited people to come “Try Linux and other open source software and get free support in the Linux Install Zone“. Whow.
